DXT Commodities, an international commodities trading house based in Lugano, leading player in the wholesale natural gas and power market, is looking for a Power Analyst to strengthen the European power analysis team.


Tasks:

The Analyst will work on the development of simulation models of European Power markets to support trading decisions. The position requires a passion for quantitative development but also strong business acumen, given the continuous interactions with Traders, Meteorologists, Analysts and IT developers.

This is an exciting opportunity to apply quantitative skills in a pure trading environment.


Requirements:

Degree in natural science, engineering, computer science or quantitative Economics/Finance with a solid academic training;
Strong data analysis and coding skills (Python, R);
Fluent in English, a second European language is a plus;
Experience in the power market analysis or energy is a plus.
