Based on a permanent contract, the 24-month programme, which include on- and off-the-job components, place the emphasis on teamwork but also explore each individual's specific skill set, further their development and set specific objectives.
As a participant in our graduate programme, you will develop your business know-how by working alongside accomplished professionals. Your initial training will be complemented with a professional certification relevant to your area of business (CFA, CIIA, etc.). In addition, our programme will enable you to develop the interpersonal and self-leadership skills you will require in your future career. The programme will also be an opportunity to establish an extensive network of peers and experts within Pictet and to meet members of the management.

The programme is made up of different tracks to be run in the various departments of the investment platform including the following activities: financial research (equities, bonds or funds), advisory, portfolio management. Rotations within our front office activities and within our partner divisions are also considered (Pictet Trading & sales, Pictet Alternatives Advisors or Pictet Asset Management).
During the graduate programme you will develop strong analytical and investment skills and forge a solid network comprising the business stakeholders working for Pictet Wealth Management.
You will end your graduate programme as an investment professional, where you will use the expertise you have gained to contribute to the success of our teams.
Master’s in Finance, Economics or Science from a top business school or an equivalent qualification..
At least six months' experience and less than two years’ experience in a consulting, investment, portfolio management or another investment-led role in financial services (internships, temporary roles, etc.).
Excellent command of PowerPoint and Excel. Programming skills would be a strong plus (VBA, Matlab, R, etc.).
Results-oriented and highly numerate.
Excellent communication skills.
Fluency in English. International exposure, either in a work-related, academic or personal context.
Strong involvement in extracurricular activities contributing to specifics projects (academic, humanitarian, etc) is highly appreciated.
Must be resident in Switzerland with a valid work permit.
Start date: 1st September or 1st October 2019
As the successful candidate you will combine strong technical expertise with excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to work across silos. You will also be self-motivated, able to work easily on your own and extremely diligent, as well as showing a proactive approach to problem-solving. In addition, you will be able to build strong working relationships with all business stakeholders.
