You will be responsible for:
> Helping to identify the right analytical use cases in tandem with business stakeholders and assessing the value, feasibility and set-up to be used. Examples of business cases you may work on include: fraud detection, identifying risky client behaviour, customer 360, client segmentation, as well as pricing models.
> Creating and implementing data mining/predictive analytics solutions to support business stakeholders in monitoring their day-to-day business.
> Taking part in big data experimentation for the Pictet Group, mainly involving internal data.
> Analysing potential failures and areas of improvement in each project to help the innovation team grow.
> Working closely with IT and Group Security to set the proper environment for data mining and analytics deployment.
> Contributing to building an open innovation eco system (creating an API and dedicated website for developers, organising hackathons, etc.)
You will end your graduate programme with a 6 month rotation within one or two other business lines (Tech & Ops, asset management, trading) in order to learn about other Pictet services, products and client segments which will enable you to build your network in the bank.
> Master’s degree.
> Extensive hands-on experience with data mining, machine learning, statistics and predictions (such as Python, R and SAS).
> Excellent knowledge of data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g.. Tableau or BO) with solid SQL-coding skills.
> Ability to grasp new tools quickly.
> Entrepreneurial and can-do spirit, able to work independently without supervision and with problem-solving skills.
> Team spirit and change-agent attitude (listening, negotiating and influencing skills).
> Good presentation skills and ability to communicate both to business and technical audiences.
> Fluent in English and French.
> The candidate will be required to reside in Switzerland.
